ChemMaster stores account information, practice progress, and mastery signals so the app can personalize study recommendations and restore sessions between visits.
What we store
We store the information you provide directly, including your name, email address, password hash, selected study track, practice preferences, progress history, and answers submitted in practice runs.
How we use it
We use that information to authenticate your account, save progress, generate adaptive sprint recommendations, surface strengths and weaknesses, and support account recovery.
Operational logs
The app may log health checks, auth events, email delivery events, and runtime errors for security and reliability. These logs are intended for internal operations and debugging.
Basic site analytics
ChemMaster may store first-party analytics such as landing pages, broad referrer sources, device type, operating system, browser family, and pageview timing so the team can understand traffic quality, signup conversion, and performance. When available through the network proxy, we may also store coarse geographic metadata like country, region, city, metro code, timezone, and postal code. We use this for product operations and do not rely on third-party ad trackers inside the app.
